Greetings! =) Im feeling recharged today after dedicating most of my time to my assignments. Got honked by an irritated driver on the way to school yesterday cos i was still taking my own sweet time on the road and i didnt notice the blinking man had already turned red. Guess the honk woke me up from my daze. I was in a daze the whole day yesterday and my friend had to repeat what she said at least 2 times. Guess im really tired from all the midnight burning, yesterday was the last lap for me. And seriously, i look like crap now with all the stress-related acnes and god damn eye bags. So Frankeinsteinish. And after feeling so horrible and crappy for the entire day, i cant believe i actually chose to sit beside 1 stinking man in the train. Im pretty sure it was the sweat, or body odour, im not sure which.Eeeeewwwww. But i was too tired to actually move and there were not many seats around also. To sum it up, had an unpleasant journey home yesterday. Since i was free the whole of today, i decided to clean up my entire room. Guess my mom is the happiest person around cos she prefers to have the whole house spotless. Put a few random things here and there and she'll complain about untidyness. After 20 years, i've finally adopted quite abit of her lifestyle. I do clean up my room quite abit when i get into the cleaning mood and im not that messy anymore hehe.
Anyway, i was just checking my email just now when some ad about monash university caught my attendtion. It shows a picture that shows this exact message "Im going to monash, are you coming?" Though it was just a simple message and ad, i suppose it left quite an impression.
Here's a list of ad's that made an impression :
1. Spunky's (my best friend) ad for some buscuit. It started off with ants eyeing on the leftover buscuit crumbs on the table. They were brainstorming on how to move all the buscuit crumbs until one smart alec suddenly had an idea, so all the ants formed a human chain. When a group of ants were passing buscuit crumbs through the air, it fell and broke. Thats the part that advertises the crispiness of the buscuit. Coming from a design talent in the marketing field.
2. This Ad shown in almost every movie theatre ive been. Its the one abt the little indian gurl who wanted to get birds for her brother who's going away on a trip to wish me good luck but didn't have enough money. Then some guy in white, I forgot his name, paid for dozens of birds using his credit card, i think it has a catchy phrase - " All it takes' that comes with it. HeartWarming.
3. Singtel's ad. This happened a few years back where they had this kid having a conference call with her dad who's overseas. She kinda called him 'daddy' over the phone, and then it shows on the dad's face how happy he was. We were all watching this on tv one day when my lil cousin who still couldnt talk by then started saying 'Daddy ah..daddy" . and it became her very first words.
Cheerios. Im off to watch my dvd now hehe
